Cosmic Weather Forecast — April 9, 2009

Cerebral Mercury moves out of quick spirited and temperamental Aries and into stable and structured Taurus.

  This will shock the fire signs, who have experienced a few weeks of quickened intuition, insight, and a steady diet of creative inspiration, and it will soothe the earth signs that will begin to feel like they are living on more solid ground.   Mercury in Taurus is concerned with understanding life through a process of forming facts from firm conclusions based on experience rather than intuition and feelings.  Mercury gives us the message that we need to turn more towards the rational and proceed in a more conservative, cautious, and constructive manner.   In addition, Taurus rules money and our finances.  We can take advantage of this energy by creating a budget and by cutting out wasteful spending.    

As Mercury changes signs, the Moon moves into its full phase.  The full Moon is a continuation of the New Moon process that began in late March.  The Sun and Venus both being in Aries, has made life concerns to be about “ourselves” with very little focus on others.  This Moon phase brings to the surface the issues surrounding our relationships in a deeper capacity, as a result of understanding ourselves.   As a result, those that are around us will have more of an understanding of who we are and what motivates us.  Take time out today to be more compassionate, understanding, and empathic to those we love that are in need.  We can build a bridge between ourselves and others, which will give hope and inspiration to the isolated, wounded, and challenged.
