In the morning hours, the Moon will move out of the earthy world of Virgo and into the intellectual and civilized domain of Libra.

Out of all the signs of the zodiac, Libra is the only one that is represented by an object – the scales – where all the other signs are represented by the animal kingdom in all its shapes and sizes.  What could this mean?   Simply put, Libra is probably the most human and detached from the crude survival instincts of nature than any of the other signs.

While the Moon is in Libra, the need for peace and harmony are important as is diplomacy and fairness.  People are usually better behaved while the Moon is in the sign of the scales because dark emotions are often ignored and are rather useless at this time.  In business, you will find it easy to cooperate with others and if any conflict occurs it will be handled with tact and grace.  The Moon makes no aspects throughout the day, so emotional attitudes should be rather stable.

Mercury retrograde in Libra sextile Jupiter in LeoToday, Mercury retrograde in Libra creates a harmonious aspect (sextile) to expansive and benefic Jupiter in Leo.  The good news about this aspect is that it is naturally self-reflective, so there is not much of a need to tweak Mercury.

Mercury in aspect to Jupiter gives us the ability to see potentials and possibilities in life. We move beyond our day to day focus and begin to see the big picture.  Understanding what you truly want and need out of life and creating a plan to get there is a major key towards self-actualization and builds the proverbial bridge to inner happiness.  Further, your mood should be rather optimistic and you will find others enjoy being around you at this time.

Business wise today is an amazing day.  The positive aspect between Mercury and Jupiter are favorable for negotiations, transactions, and since Jupiter naturally rules the 9th house of legal affairs this is a great time to resolve any past legal matters and ultimately put a positive end to them.  However, with Mercury being retrograde contract negotiations should be avoided until after October 25th.

Today, Mercury retrograde in Libra joins forces with the love planet Venus to give us another fun filled and enjoyable day.  You will find the company of friends and other people rather pleasing and it’s necessary for you not to be overburdened by responsibilities and duties.  In fact, it is a great day to take short trips and visit people – especially those that are important to you that you haven’t spent time with in a while.

The good vibrations from the cosmos continue to roll in today as the Sun in Libra conjoins with Mercury and Mercury makes a lovely aspect to Mars.  The one thing that we have to keep in mind is that Mercury is retrograde, so we will have to tweak our interpretations slightly.

First, let’s take Sun conjunct Mercury.  In normal circumstances, this would be a great day to communicate our ideals and thoughts with others.  There is a clear flow of energy between these two planets that allows us to get our point of view across productively.  However, since Mercury is retrograde this is a great opportunity for you to reflect on the current state of your life and decide whether or not you are getting your inner needs met.  Additionally, it’s a great time to understand those around you better than ever before because Sun conjoined with Mercury gives us perceptive insight.

This dovetails straight into Mercury sextile Mars.  Normally, this would be a great time to get things done because Mars fires up Mercury and it’s great for completing tasks and completely jobs that may need to be finished.  Yet, Mercury retrograde instructs us to turn this inward and actually gives you the courage and initiative to take care of your inner needs and express your wants, needs, and desires.  Since this aspect is beneficial, you will notice it easier than ever before to get people to be responsive to your needs because they will be more receptive to you at this time.  Finally, if new opportunities come your way today, consider them but do not take action until after Mercury goes direct.

Today, Venus in Libra makes a favorable aspect to Jupiter in Leo.  Now, I will admit this is not the most opportune day (Tuesday) for this aspect to occur, because the general nature of the two planets is not to take things too seriously and it is known for its ‘fun’ side rather than its mundane application.  However, where business is concerned, Venus sextile Jupiter is great for financial matters, making deals, and resolving legal matters – although keep in mind that Mercury is retrograde and it is recommended not to finalize business plans or sign contracts at this time.

After the work day is over (of if you are lucky enough to have Tuesday off), it is a great day for fun filled associations.  The general energy of Venus-Jupiter leans towards enjoying the company of others and giving/receiving generosity.  Today is a great day to reach out to your social circle and spend some time focused on fun activities rather than anything too serious.  Additionally, any new friendships or relationships that begin under this influence should prove beneficial and will bring out your best qualities.
