Venus in Libra oppose Uranus in Aries

Today, Venus in Libra will oppose Uranus in Aries. Venus in Libra loves the idea of relationship – togetherness, harmony, being with another person and since she is the natural ruler of the sign her influence in this aspect is amplified. Uranus, on the other hand, is in individualistic Aries which is more concerned with self and self-identity. So, it’s easy to see the conflict inherent with this placement and working with it can be difficult if your mindset is too rigid and unable to accept change.

The most positive way to deal with Venus oppose Uranus is to change things up a bit. Luckily, this aspect occurs on a Saturday and many people are not fettered to mundane responsibilities. Take some time out to do something different with your partner – maybe something adventurous and exciting. Uranus needs to break from the day to day routine and now is an excellent time to do so.

On the lunar front, the moon is void of course until 11:51 AM. Try to avoid starting anything new or finalizing any plans till the afternoon hours. The Moon will move into Gemini which is a great for communication and social events.

I’m really excited about the energy today as the Sun in Libra sextiles Jupiter in Leo. This is considered one of the most positive and benefic aspects there is and after a couple of weeks of intensive energies it’s rather welcomed.

You will notice that you have an extremely optimistic mind which will make you feel like lady luck is on your side. Anything you put your mind to throughout the day should be successful. Further, you will notice the people around you generally enjoyable and your interactions should prove to be harmonious.

In other cosmic news, Mercury retrograde moves back into the sign of Libra during the early afternoon hours brining a bit of problems to communication in relationships. This could be amplified by the Moon squaring Jupiter and opposing Saturn – avoid self-doubt at this time. However, our emotional fluctuations should be easily managed with the Sun sextile Jupiter.

The Moon in Taurus

So after the eclipse madness, we all come back down to earth as the Moon moves into earthy Taurus. You find it a necessity to express yourself in concrete ways as the Taurean realm is concerned with practicality, reliability, and reality. While the Moon was in Aries, the energy was fast and furious, but the gentle vibe of Taurus promotes spending time doing things you enjoy. Furthermore, unexpected changes that occur throughout the day could provoke anxious or unsettled feelings – try your best not to react.

The Moon makes a couple of aspects today. Communication could be tricky during the morning hours (especially in relationships) as the Moon opposes Mercury retrograde. Think about what you say before you say it. During the afternoon things will improve as the Moon sextiles Neptune opening opportunities for creative expression. Spend some time to get in touch with your feelings and reconnect with your spiritual core.
